San Juan images
I extend my thanks to Teague Parker for these images, part of a collection gathered recently during a San Juan Islands escape. First is a coniferous tree standing at the edge of a rocky bluff, its curves and spindly boughs testifying to a “bend but not break” attitude. Two vessels … the stocky Palomar at work and a sleek sailboat at play … draw the photographer’s eye while on a marine excursion of his own. Finally, there are the warm, golden tones of a late summer sunset on Crane Island. I haven’t been there, but these photographs have inspired me to place a trip to this island on my “to do” list. Thanks, my friend, for sharing your talents with us.
