Salvation Army sing-along

Music filled the air at Causland Park Saturday night as the Salvation Army Anacortes Corps hosted a Christmas Carol sing-along for the community. Members of the Salvation Army Northwest Brass Band performed along with members of the Sweet Adelines. Pictured here is Advisory Board Member and musician Bob Bearchel, speaking to Advisory Board member Maggie Thompson. Leila Meyer, also an Advisory Board member, was instrumental in planning the event. Also involved were Thompson (in Santa hat) and Jean Norton, an Anacortes Corps staffer. Among those enjoying the sing-along were Michael and Deborah Broome and their son, Brandon (foreground).
