Fun at Tesoro Run
For the 10th year, Tesoro Refinery hosted the March Point Fun Run & Walk, drawing hundreds of runners from around the region. The Saturday event opened with the Kids’ Half-Mile, followed shortly thereafter by the 5K and 10K. Tesoro’s running event draws competitors at all skill levels, from children to runners in their seventies. A special feature of the community event is a free lunch and presentation of ribbons, trophies and prizes following the run. Dozens of Tesoro employees volunteer to make the event possible. Main organizers are Dan Cameron and Bud Anderson, pictured here. Both have competed in the event in the past, but opted for administrative duties this year. Maybe it was the 80-degree weather…
