In and out
State ferry Kaleetan and a sister boat pass each other in the Guemes Channel, one on the way to the San Juans and the other on a return trip to Anacortes. State ferries are a beautiful element of the “scenery” here in this neck of the woods.
Misty morning fishing
By land and by sea, salmon fishermen are working Deception Pass and environs. This photo was taken from North Beach under the bridge. Didn’t see any catches, but got reports of some after a post on Facebook.

Navy opens doors to the public
