Thanks a million - 01/22/2009
It was a day of celebration for the Skagit County United Way organization on January 21, when the non-profit announced a total of $972,651 raised for the 2009 campaign. Board President Dan Berentson handled emcee duties before passing on the gavel to Sue Krienen for the upcoming year. Among many honored at the McIntyre Hall event were Volunteer of the Year Jennifer Larson and Ted Reep Award winner Milt Snyder. Also sharing a few moments at the podium was United Way Executive Director Paul Chaplik.
