Railroad owners: Tommy & Anne
Anacortes Railway Co. owners Anne and Tommy Thompson. Tommy hand-built this locomotive and passenger cars, operating several years on a narrow gauge track between 4th Street and the Calico Cupboard Restaurant on Commercial Avenue. Tommy died in 1999, and Anne donated the train to the City of Anacortes.
Kayaking Heart Lake: 2010
One of my favorites among my kayak shots, most of which are taken in seawater settings such as Deception Pass and Fidalgo Bay. This kayaker was with a small group on Heart Lake, 10 years ago.
