Sun levels have been disappointing in recent days, but the evidence is clear … there has been enough light and warmth to start things popping in the wonderful world of Fidalgo Island flora. Backyard splashes of color to date include cherry blossoms, camelia bush and a couple of rhodies. Of course, daffodils and tulips are springing up wherever planted. Almost time for some Skagit Valley excursions…
