John Curley and Darrell Benedict of King5 TV’s Evening Magazine are in Anacortes today taping elements of the program for Friday night (August 31). In addition to promotion of the Anacortes Jazz Festival, the program will include a feature on historic Anacortes Marine Supply and Hardware. I caught up with Curley (left) preparing to interview store owner Steve Demopoulos (center). Star of the moment was the shop mascot “Cat II,” (also known as “Fang”), whose eccentric nature was described by Rick Sohn. Look for the Anacortes-based Evening Magazine segment Friday night.
