A couple of dozen Shell Puget Sound Refinery employees and family members contributed to the success of the Sunday evening Christmas Parade in downtown Mount Vernon. In addition to several lighted emergency response vehicles, Shell’s parade entry included volunteers who handed out colorful bead necklaces. Also on hand were the popular inflated “firefighters.” In the coming week, Shell volunteers will participate in Burlington and Anacortes Christmas events as well.
