The first time I saw a paddle board was in Honolulu. The second time I saw a paddle board was when my Hawaiian friend Danny launched for an excursion from the beach at Washington Park. This photo was taken during the recent Waterfront Festival, when the bay at Seafarers’ Memorial Park was used heavily by kayakers … and a handful of paddle boarders. I’m guessing the numbers will grow.
