With retirement looming ever closer, Anacortes School Superintendent Chris Borgen and staff got some gratifying news today: “U.S. News and World Report was named Anacortes High School #30 in the State of Washington and #1072 nationally in their “Best High Schools” 2013 rankings. This places Anacortes High School in the top 5 percent in the state as well as the nation! I know I join the rest of our staff, community and parents in congratulating AHS administration and staff on a job well done.” This photo was taken at last year’s AHS graduation ceremony. Now local kids have a new reason to celebrate a diploma from AHS!
