Coffee on deck

Katie and Vaughn Olson of Boise, Idaho started their morning with a cup of coffee aboard the “Terrier,” docked in the North Basin of Cap Sante Boat Haven. That’s their Newfoundland pup, Bentley, in the foreground. He took a break from his morning snooze on the dock to pose for this family photo.

In terms of today’s weather forecast, the name on the stern of this boat at Cap Sante North Basin says it all. It was a “scorcher” by northwest Washington standards Thursday, and reports say we’ll hit 90 degrees today. Grab your Foster Grants and some sun block…
