Opening Day Boating Season: 2013
Scenes from Opening Day of Boating Season 2013, hosted by the Port of Anacortes at Cap Sante Marina. There was no 2020 event due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings. Activity on local waters is starting to pick up, however. Sunny blue summer days have an amazing power to draw folks out.

Anacortes Port officials opened the 2010 boating season with a bang – literally – in a 90-minute program at Cap Sante Boat Haven.
