I shot this photo from Cap Sante in the Eighties. Reference points include Washington Federal Savings and Safeway. Some shoreline properties have been demolished, others constructed since this photo. There are no longer covered boathouses at Cap Sante Boat Haven, either.
Exterior work on the Anthony’s Restaurant in downtown Anacortes is well underway. Lots of glass on the east side of the restaurant will bring Cap Sante Boat Haven right into the dining area. A January 2011 opening is planned.

The Port of Anacortes has extended an invitation to a day of celebratory activities Saturday, May 1 in recognition of the opening of the 2010 Boating Season. Activities begin at noon at Cap Sante Boat Haven, a beautiful downtown marina that is open to the public.
Cap Sante, one of the most popular tourist attractons in the city, serves as home to several hundred people. Some Cap Sante residents live on beautiful shoreline properties.
