No one can accuse these folks, or their peace counterparts across the street, of being fair weather activists. A Strandberg Construction crew spent a couple of days last week demolishing this building at the corner of 25th Street and Commercial Avenue. The cinderblock building last housed a tile shop. Anyone know plans for vacant lot?

While south Commercial Avenue construction work continues, activity on the north end included re-striping of center lines by a city crew. Just in time for Shipwreck Day, the giant garage sale set for Saturday, July 18 in the downtown area.
