Guests at the Port’s Opening Day of Boating Season event last Saturday were given an opportunity to preview the soon-to-be-reopened Seafarers’ Memorial Park on Fidalgo Bay. Improvements include a new pier and small craft dock, which kayakers will love. Visible in the distance is Cap Sante and the Rotary Park gazebo.
Returning home to Cap Sante Boat Haven is the sailboat “Shackles,” docking Sunday as the Waterfront Festival was in full swing on shore.
