Anacortes Christmas past
It was Christmas 2006 when the Abominable Snowman joined some of his other Burl Ives cutout friends at a fundraiser called the Celebration of Trees. This colorful holiday event was sponsored by Island Hospital Foundation and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce. Cutout characters including Frosty the Snowman were lent by the Burl Ives Family.
Foundation fete
Just love using the word “fete.” This is the year that the Island Hospital Foundation (IHF) brought the Gala of Hope back home.

Among highlights of the annual meeting of the Anacortes Museum Foundation Friday night was acknowledgement of Laura Wynn (center) as Volunteer of the Year.
