Dignitary tour

Haugen honored
State Senator Mary Margaret Haugen (D-Camano) was honored Friday night by a crowd gathered to kick off the Anacortes Waterfront Festival. Presenting a “saved” poster was Mayor Dean Maxwell, who noted Haugen’s key role in preserving the Anacortes-Sidney, B.C. international ferry from state budget cuts.
