A brick wall on the perimeter of the Island Hospital expansion project went up Wednesday morning under blue skies and warm temperatures. I always enjoy watching someone engaged in the ancient art of bricklaying.
Crews began laying down roof panels Wednesday on the addition being constructed at Island Hospital. General contractor on the project is Lydig Construction.

Heavy equipment crews are hard at work on a project site between Commercial Avenue and Island Hospital. The $7.3 million construction project includes a new facility for physical therapy, cancer care and dialysis services. Project manager is Marc Estvold.
