This collection of photos is from late afternoon on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the tail end of the 2022 Oyster Run. The weather was perfect as thousands of bikers descended on Anacortes for this annual event.
Just a sliver of Oyster Run
The annual Oyster Run event that typically draws thousands of motorcyclists to downtown Anacortes was cancelled due to the pandemic. A midafternoon run through the area revealed only a few dozen bikes.
Rolling through
Fidalgo Island is a popular place among Northwest bikers. This group of more than a dozen motorcyclists passed through town early this morning, turning from 32nd Avenue onto Commercial on their way out of town. Maybe later today they’ll be blessed with a bit of sunshine.
