Roadside flower show
My path from home to forest trails is a city street that becomes more like a country lane. All along, I am treated to a colorful combination of wild plants as well as a variety of flowers, bushes and trees planted by neighbors.

Tulip up tight
Skagit’s tulip blooms are taking their own sweet time this year, but my neighbor’s garden boasts a few pockets of color including this beauty. Skagit Valley Tulip Festival runs all month.
