Nothing quiet about this Sunday afternoon in Anacortes. Oyster Run 2005 was in its waning hours when I visited downtown at 2 p.m. Lots of noise, color and activity, as always.
They started rumbling into town Friday night and by Saturday afternoon they numbered in the hundreds. Tomorrow the floodgates really open as 2005 Oyster Run takes place on Commercial Avenue. There’s nothing quite like it on the annual calendar of events.
