Take advantage of the coming break in weather to get out and enjoy one of this community’s most precious assets … Washington Park. Take 12th Street/Oakes west past the ferry terminal and hook up with the loop road that leads to this vantage point above Burrows Bay. Pedestrians only before 10 a.m.

Ah, the golden days of youth, when little children like these three celebrate friendship on a daily basis…The girls struck a pose at the rail of Cap Sante Boat Basin during the Anacortes Waterfront Festival last weekend. Making memories

It was a beautiful morning at Washington Park, where activities ranged from boat launching to walking the loop. The couple pictured here stepped out onto the rocks opposite the public boat launch for a “photo op.” Trips to Washington Park are guaranteed to produce warm memories.
