Anthony’s in January
Just a few weeks remain now before the grand opening of Anthony’s restaurant on the downtown Anacortes waterfront. Anthony’s is located at Cap Sante Boat Haven, a public marina operated by the Port of Anacortes. Details on restaurant opening are pending. This shot is taken from the esplanade near the commercial docks.
Shoreline addition
Exterior work on the Anthony’s Restaurant in downtown Anacortes is well underway. Lots of glass on the east side of the restaurant will bring Cap Sante Boat Haven right into the dining area. A January 2011 opening is planned.
Steady progress
Anyone who travels “R” Avenue or walks at Cap Sante Boat Haven is aware that dramatic progress has been made as Anthony’s Restaurant moves toward a January 2011 opening on the waterfront.
Restaurant work
A tiny wall portion of the Anthony’s restaurant at Cap Sante Boat Haven has “gone vertical,” with construction crews working in earnest toward a fall 2010 opening.
New paint
Sporting a bold new look is Sasso’s Restaurant at 701 Commercial in downtown Anacortes. It’s a great time of year to wander the streets of Anacortes, and to support our local restaurants during this “shoulder season” between summer and the holidays.
Italian dining

Joining Chef Andy Ferguson Friday afternoon at Bellissima Trattoria Italian Restaurant were friends Katy, Tom and Gary. Bellissima is located in downtown Anacortes. Coming soon at the cozy getaway is Italian pizza!
PW Murphy’s opens
