The Anacortes Seahawks lost to Prosser Mustangs Friday afternoon, 61-53, in a loser out game at the state 2A boys basketball tournament in Yakima. A scoring drought for our boys cost the Hawks in the 4th quarter. Kudos to Seahawks players and coaches for a great season with a young team! Can’t wait for year!
Wow! It doesn’t get any better. Anacortes High School football team claims first-ever state 2A Championship at Husky Stadium with an incredible 60-30 win over previously unbeaten Tumwater. Congratulations!
The Anacortes Seahawks football team won big Friday night in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, defeating Orting 42-0 to advance to the state 2A semifinals. The undefeated Seahawks move on to play Enumclaw Saturday., 3 p.m. right here at the Anacortes High School stadium (Rice Field).

Every parade needs a marching band, and the April 11 Skagit Valley Tulip Parade in LaConner was no exception. Representing Anacortes, and making great music to boot, were members of the AHS Marching Band.
