Classic cars cruise Commercial
It was exciting Sunday afternoon to stumble onto a gathering of classic car/truck owners on Commercial Avenue. They rallied in front of historic Anacortes Marine Supply & Hardware, leaving at 3 p.m. to cruise south on Commercial, around the Highway 20 roundabout and back downtown. Good stuff.

Hog heaven
They’re here! It’s “hog heaven” in Anacortes today as the 25th Annual Oyster Run takes place under ideal weather conditions. This photo was taken Sunday morning on Commercial Avenue looking north toward the Port of Anacortes and the state ferry Elwha (in dry dock). More photos later.
