I had the opportunity to watch the sun rise over Fidalgo Bay from the deck of a sailboat last week. It’s hard to believe it’s October already, especially given the awesome weather we’ve had.

Salvation Army advisory board members were rewarded for their early start Wednesday morning. It was a beautiful sunrise, starting out with shades of orange, then changing quickly to pinks and blues. The upper level of the Salvation Army Anacortes Corps building on “R” Avenue boasts one of the best views in the community.
