Tillikum trials
Timing is everything. I spotted the Tillikum doing sea trials on Fidalgo Bay, Mt. Baker in the background, but by the time I got to Cap Sante the angle on the mountain was gone. The Tillikum has been undergoing maintenance and repair work in this area.

Tillikum at DCI
Among several vessels currently under construction or repair at Dakota Creek Industries (DCI) of Anacortes is the state ferry Tillikum, built in Seattle in 1959.
