Land Trust book

About 350-400 people gathered Thursday, November 13 for a party celebrating the publication of “Natural Skagit: A Journey from Mountains to Sea.” The Skagit Land Trust publication will be sold to raise money for the non-profit organization, established in 1992. More than 60 photographers including nature photographer Lee Mann contributed to the publication. Writers including author Tom Robbins (Even Cowgirls Get the Blues) and author/Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Bill Dietrich contributed text. Skagit Land Trust supporters include Anacortes resident John Tursi, who found his way to the Northwest via the Civilian Conservation Corps as a teen.
