Folks celebrate clean air
What a wonderful Saturday morning, our air fresh again after a week of smoke from regional wildfires. Frustrated folks like me ventured out to hike, kayak, climb, swim, boat and fish. I saw families, couples and fishermen. I saw excited children grab their floaties in anticipation of lake swimming. I watched at least one child take in the scenery from Daddy’s back, and I heard the laughter and animated conversation of others on forest trails. There is literally light at the end of a temporary darkness. Come on, sun, we want more!
