Birding on a sunny afternoon
Birdwatcher Neil O'Hara
Using spotting scope at edge of wetland
It was a heartwarming experience this afternoon to see many people of all ages on beach and trail near the state ferry terminal at Ship Harbor. Among them was Anacortes birdwatcher Neil O’Hara. While we were in this corner of the preserve I saw an eagle, blue heron, kingfisher, crows, seagulls, towhees, wrens and robins. It’s a popular place among our feathered friends.
