Pastels to be featured at Scott Milo Gallery

Scott Milo Gallery welcomes back Teresa Saia of Whidbey Island with her richly colored, jewel tone pastels. The artist will be featured from December 2 to January 21, 2023. Saia offers brilliantly colored landscapes and pond pieces in many sizes.

Also showing are impressionistic NW watercolors by Eric Wiegardt, a new series of photo encaustic pieces by Kathy Hastings, colorful favorites in acrylic by Jennifer Bowman and a selection of plein air and studio paintings in oil by Lorna Libert. Be sure to notice the new custom wood tables by Gary Leake. There will also be a selection of holiday gift items including glass, sculpture and jewelry.

Meet artists during a reception on Friday, December 2 from 6-9 p.m. The evening event will be held in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce Merchant Artwalk and Tree Lighting Event.

Steve Berentson

About Photographer Steve Berentson

A fourth generation Skagit County native who was moved kicking and screaming from this island community in 1960. I finally reclaimed an Anacortes address in 1980, and I have been in constant celebration of my return since that time. Many of us who call Anacortes home love Fidalgo Island for its natural assets: among them are rugged beaches, pristine lakes, thousands of acres of forestland and some awesome views of the Skagit Valley and surrounding islands. Another element of my love affair with this community is its people, both natives and immigrants. They will “star” in many of my journal entries.
