Lotsa Lidos
More than two dozen Lido 14 Class crews jockeyed for position on Fidalgo Bay Tuesday afternoon on the second day of a week-long regatta. Look for more action off the shoreline of Seafarers’ Memorial Park tomorrow and Thursday. Photo at the bottom is of students banging around close to shoreline.
Sailing Fidalgo Bay
Another beautiful evening on Fidalgo Bay for local sailors. To enjoy this sport vicariously, spend any Wednesday at Seafarers’ Memorial Park. Cap Sante is an excellent vantage point, too.

Castle rocks the dock
Musician Geoffrey Castle delivered big time on the evening of the Fourth as headliner at the Rock the Dock concert at Seafarers’ Memorial Park. Thanks to event sponsors … this holiday concert, like the fireworks show that followed, was free.

Tommy’s train to return
A gracious gift, indeed! Anne Thompson, widow of narrow gauge train builder Tommy Thompson, recently announced she will donate the train to the City of Anacortes.
