“Growler” air crew from Whidbey Island Naval Air Station on an overcast January afternoon. This crew’s primary mission is electronic attack. According to the U.S. Navy, “the EA-18G’s vast array of sensors and weapons provides the warfighter with a lethal and survivable weapon system to counter current and emerging threats.”

Seahawks claim win

The 12th Man flag flew proudly at Frontier Ford in Anacortes Sunday. The Seahawks got off to a slow start but ultimately got the job done, defeating the 49ers 24-13. From this point the competition only gets tougher.
