Sushi chef Joon has actually been at work here for several weeks, but I just discovered his sushi bar, a new feature at Teriyaki Time on 11th Street in downtown Anacortes. I’ll be back to share some new adventures in sushi. Joon also offers vegetable options for those so inclined.
Anthony’s Cabana played a tasty part in today’s Opening Day of Boating Season event at Cap Sante Marina. The Port-sponsored kickoff event culminated with an invitation to enjoy a free bowl of chowder at the Cabana’s convenient walk-up window.

It’s free! And it’s the largest boats-in-water boat show in the Northwest, right here at Cap Sante Marina in downtown Anacortes. The Anacortes Boat Show opens each day at 10 a.m., with dozens of sailboats and power boats ready to welcome guests. Don’t forget marine exhibitors in the Big Tent.
