Shadow of things to come

Boston resident George Muksian gave me permission to post this photo, my favorite from shots I took on a recent visit to Oahu. This is Muksian’s grandson Marco, playing with a boat fashioned out of a leaf. In the shadow I see a young man and surfboard, perhaps a Hawaiian adventure in Marco’s future.
