The Berentson clan and a few close friends took over Sasso’s Friday night in celebration of Dad’s 80th birthday. Buehl J. Berentson was born in Anacortes on February 24, 1925. We stretched this birthday a bit, celebrating on the actual day but scheduling this event when everyone could be together. Pictured here are Dad and Mom with their six children: (l. to r.) Sally, Cynthia, Marianne, Steve, Rich and Vickie. It was a great night. My thanks to Tony and the sisters for getting it all together. As I noted that night, any mention of Dad’s name brings Mom’s to mind, and vice versa. To Buehl and Verna, Dad and Mom, my thanks for the love and support that have always been so important to me, even when we lived 3,000 miles apart.
