Anacortes native Steve Jamison returned home last night, bringing a message of experience and inspiration to a gathering of about 55 people from various Christian churches in the area. Jamison, pastor of a congregation in King County, is co-founder of “Jammin Against the Darkness,” a nationwide evangelism ministry that features players from the National Basketball Association and other professional sports. The dinner, hosted by the Salvation Army, included people who are investigating the possibility of an evangelism event in the summer or fall of this year.
