Heading west Wednesday afternoon after a syncrolift launch at Dakota Creek Industries (DCI) is the Chetzemoka, a ferry in the Washington State Ferries fleet. Accompanying the ferry is the tugboat Lindsey Foss. MV Chetzemoka is a Kwa-di Tabil class ferry built at Todd Pacific Shipyards in Seattle for the Washington State Ferries. The vessel was christened by Gov. Christine Gregoire and began service on the Keystone run in November 2010. The Chetzemoka’s next assignment is to replace the 1947-built Rhododendron between Point Defiance and Tahlequah in January.
