The Port of Skagit today hosted Community Day at Skagit Regional Airport from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event combined education, career counseling and fun activities while showcasing the airport as a valuable community asset. The program involved: flying and static aircraft displays from Heritage Flight Museum, Corporate Air Center, and our Skagit pilot community; Young Eagle Flights for 8-17 year olds; aviation lectures; youth activities; food and drink vendors. Community Day was made possible by Skagit Airport Support Association, Heritage Flight Museum and other airport businesses.
