Vintage fire engine shines in parade
It was exciting to see the city’s vintage 1924 American LaFrance fire engine motoring up Commercial Avenue under its own power at the Anacortes Lions Christmas parade! Kudos to all who have spent many years restoring this beauty. Honored occupant on this “Walk with Santa” was Mayor Laurie Gere.

Classic firetruck leads the parade
This 1924 American LaFrance fire truck served as lead entry in a wonderful 2021 4th of July Parade in downtown Anacortes Sunday. A true labor of love for many volunteers over many years.
