Rows of boats

With sun shining and flags flying, hundreds of people walked the docks at Trawler Fest 2011, a week-long event sponsored by PassageMaker magazine. Trawler Fest, which is taking place at Cap Sante Boat Haven, is a boost to the local economy with guests spilling out into businesses including Anthony’s Restaurant.

Just a few weeks remain now before the grand opening of Anthony’s restaurant on the downtown Anacortes waterfront. Anthony’s is located at Cap Sante Boat Haven, a public marina operated by the Port of Anacortes. Details on restaurant opening are pending. This shot is taken from the esplanade near the commercial docks.

Shoreline addition

Exterior work on the Anthony’s Restaurant in downtown Anacortes is well underway. Lots of glass on the east side of the restaurant will bring Cap Sante Boat Haven right into the dining area. A January 2011 opening is planned.
