Anchor art space welcomes artist Carolyn Law for an exhibition of mixed media works on paper. “Noting” opens Friday, June 5, with a reception from 6-9 p.m. This exhibition runs through June 27. Anchor art space is available to accommodate private events. It is located at 216 Commercial Avenue.
Sunshine broke through right on time for the Depot Garden Art Fair in downtown Anacortes this weekend. The fair continues through Sunday. Check out artist Dennis Cant’s work.

Sophomore artist Laura Bassett continues volunteer work on a wall mural in the administrative office area of Anacortes High School. With little fanfare, artwork was mounted this morning on the south side of the new Historic Downtown Anacortes arch. Work continues almost daily on the privately funded project, which is scheduled for an “official” christening on Independence Day.
