Seeing this photograph of tiny wild berries reminds me it is time to take a hike at Heart Lake, formerly a state park and now part of the city forestlands.
They caught my eye immediately after getting out of my car in the alley behind the Rockfish Grill. I don’t know what plant it is, but it produces brilliant, bright red berries that grow in clusters. These berries hung over a lattice fence between the Rockfish and graphics design business How It Works.
