Depression era shelter

Morning light illuminates shelter at Bowman Bay. This structure dates back to the Thirties, when workers from the federal Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built many structures, timber/stone guardrails and paths.

New pier coming at Bowman Bay

Phase 1 of a Bowman Bay Pier construction project has started this week. The existing pier will be demolished and replaced. Bowman Bay is located on the Fidalgo Island side of Deception Pass State Park.
