Historic mural of Bubble
One of Bill Mitchell’s historic murals adorns the exterior wall of Anacortes Inn on Commercial Avenue. This mural was inspired by a photograph of Bubble, a colorful woman who called Guemes Island home. This scene recalls a 1936 canoe adventure in Alaska.
