Sure, a few of the banks in town feature new-fangled digital clocks, but most prefer to follow time on two historic “sidewalk clocks” in the downtown district. One is located outside the door of Burton Jewelers and the other, this J.C. Leadbetter clock, on 4th Street.
The clock is ticking as we prepare for New Year’s Eve and the arrival of 2004! This clock, wrapped in lights for the season, stands outside Burton Jewelers in downtown Anacortes. Visible in the background is the Eagles Hall.
