Arch preparation
You can’t make a visit downtown without noticing the street improvement project between 10th and 11th streets. Included as part of this project is creation of a support system for an arch that will span Commercial Avenue and welcome guests to the community. Weather permitting, look for this project to take the fast track.
Portalis progress
Among many residential construction projects in Anacortes is Portalis, situated with a view of the state ferry terminal north of Oakes Avenue. Visible in the foreground is the foundation of a three-plex building. Ultimately there will be six three-plexes for a total of 18 townhome units ranging in size from 1,881 to 2,249 square feet.
Rooms with a view
New construction in under way throughout Skyline, a bustling residential community on the west side of Fidalgo Island. These beachfront homes are located near Tugboat Park.
