I treated myself to a hike on Morrison Trail Thursday, dropping down from the hills to the shoreline of Little Cranberry Lake. This “shapely” tree is familiar to hikers on Trail 103 in the city forestlands.

On an afternoon when I chose to take a hike around Little Cranberry Lake, Billy Nestle and Torre Spitali opted for fishing. I don’t know if they caught anything, but my catch included some nice photos and the opportunity to exercise my legs. Every visit to this beautiful lake yields rewards.
