The Fourth of July 2005 was particularly memorable for Anacortes residents who took part in dedication of a new arch welcoming visitors to this island community. The Chamber of Commerce and City of Anacortes partnered to host a dedication party, followed by a gathering of citizens for the annual “Town Photo” by the Anacortes American.
Once again this year the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce and partners including a hardworking crew of volunteers placed Christmas lights downtown in preparation for the holiday season.
